Manuel is a light fawn son of the well known ILR Peruvian Don Julio known for his fine fleece and his ability to produce great looking cria with excellent conformation.

Manuel has excellent fleece statistics for his age & like his sire he is producing cria with outstanding conformation, very attractive heads & fleece with good length & coverage, as well as crimp & lustre.

His sire Don Julio was twice the 2nd place taker in the USA National championships & Don Julio’s sire was the National champion of Peru in the 1990’s, so some great genetics in Manuel’s background.

Manuel is an excellent & very keen worker with a high rate of pregnancies on the first mating.

Most of his cria have excellent frames & a very nice style about them, especially out of Chilean style girls. He has produced a majority of solid white cria out of a mix of white & coloured girls whilst with us. A good male to use to improve your less attractive girls!

Chico has some very lovely black progeny on the ground. He is not getting enough work at Currabungla due to a limited number of black females to service.
