Oak Grove Persia
We have not been big showers of our alpacas, but have shown our fleeces for several years.
However, more recently we have started showing our animals & have achieved some success.
At the Bega Show 2009, the judge made special mention of our stud male Nemisis's 5th fleece.
He also stated that our young Nemisis son Oregon has the sort of fineness the industry needs to breed for in the future.
These comments mean a lot more than any ribbon, as they independently confirm that we are achieving our goal of breeding for ultrafine quality alpacas.
Latest Show News
Being part of the Bega show committe for 2011 made taking animals a difficult task with too much else to do.
But we entered 12 fleeces & came home
with 10 ribbons.
